HELP

OK, so I have been thinking how technologically advanced I am lately because I have a blog, and I am a part of the facebook thing. However, when I browse around and look at other blogs, I realize that I am still way behind. I have no pictures to post because I have no digital camera. Everyone else has a cute picture to go with everything that they post. I, however, have nothing, just empty space(aside from the christmas tree that i downloaded from clipart....very sad). In addition, I have no clue how to add things to the links section. I have tried and tried. I am beginning to think that I am just too dumb for the blog matrix. Once again, I have no picture to put with this, so no one will read it, and no one will post a comment because I stink at this. Little help please.

Christmas is HERE

I finally feel like it is Christmas time because I finally put up our Christmas tree. I was going to get a real one, but Kevin's schedule hasn't allowed us to go look together. So I went to good ole Walmart and bought a beautiful artificial tree. I figure that it will last a lot longer and save us money in the long run.
Those things are not as easy to assemble as one would imagine. It took me a few hours and a couple of trips to Walmart for more tree trimming items, but I finally finished. It is a beautiful tree and smells real because I purchased a candle that has that pine scent. Our apartment now feels like home.

I decided since I have pictures to add now that I would share what our tree looked like this year. You can't really see the lights, but it was so pretty at night. This is sooo much fun!!

New Beginnings at Christmas

"It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas." I am sooo excited about Christmas this year. Well, I get really excited about Christmas every year, but this year is special because Kevin and I have had a challenging year. However, we have sooo much to be thankful for.

We just moved into a new apartment that is a little old, but it is so much bigger than anything that we have ever lived in. There are two bedrooms, so Kevin finally gets his UNC Tarheels room. We had furniture donated from various friends, and our apartment is looking better than the old stuff we had in New Orleans. GOD is so Good.

God has truly blessed us this fall with financial stability, great friends, and generosity from others. We hope that we can do the same when someone needs our help. Christmas time is a great opportunity for that. We are most thankful for the birth of His son so many years ago. Where would we be without Him?

We are trying to think of some Christmas traditions that we can start since we are still newlyweds. Any ideas are welcome, and Merry Christmas to all!!!
